HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem No. 03 - Approval of Commercial and Payroll Disbursements for Consent Calendar City of San Bernardino Request for Council Action Date: March 4, 2020 To: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members From: Teri Ledoux, City Manager By: Paul Espinoza, Finance Director Subject: Approval of Commercial and Payroll Disbursements for January/February 2020 Recommendation It is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino approve the commercial and payroll disbursements for January/February 2020. Background Completed commercial and payroll disbursement registers are submitted to the Mayor and City Council for approval. This happens on a regular basis, typically every meeting for the most recently completed disbursement registers. The detailed warrant registers are available on weekly by the Finance Department. The registers may be accessed by copying the following link into an internet browser: <http://sbcity.org/cityhall/finance/warrant_register.asp> Discussion Gross Payroll Bi-Weekly for February 06, 2020$2,230,414.63 Monthly for February 15, 2020 11,666.69 Total Payroll Demands: $2,242,081.32 The following check registers are being presented for approval: February 6, 20202019/20 (Register #33)$1,445,295.75 February 13, 20202019/20 (Register #34)673,895.31 Total commercial check demands:$2,119,191.06 The following Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) registers presented for approval: Page 1 6632 January 24, 20202019/20 (Register #867)$121,865.90 January 27, 20202019/20 (Register #868-869)591,367.70 January 28, 20202019/20 (Register #870-871)2,210.89 January 29, 20202019/20 (Register #872-874)534,655.99 February 7, 20202019/20 (Register #875)484,366.96 Total commercial EFT demands:$1,734,467.44 2020-2025 Key Strategic Targets and Goals Approval of the noted check and EFT registers for commercial and payroll disbursements align with Key Target No. 1: Financial Stability by creating a framework for spending decisions. Fiscal Impact Amounts noted in the disbursement registers have no further fiscal impact. Amounts were paid consistent with existing budget authorization and no further budgetary impact is required. Conclusion It is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino approve the commercial and payroll disbursements for January/February 2020.
