Subject: Receive and File Minutes Approved from Various City Boards
& Commissions
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino,
California, receive and file the minutes from the City Board, Commission, and Citizen
Advisory Committee meetings approved in December 2019 and January 2 020.
Background
On February 7, 2018, the Mayor and City Council adopted general provisions for the
City’s Boards, Commissions and Citizen Advisory Committees under Municipal Code
Chapter 2.17, requiring meeting minutes to be provided to the Mayor and City Council.
Discussion
In keeping with the reporting requirements established in Municipal Code Chapter
2.17.080 the minutes for the City Board, Commission and Citizen Advisory Committee
meetings approved in the months of October and November are presented for review by
the Mayor and City Council including the:
1. Animal Control Commission - December 11, 2019
2. Library Board - September 10, 2019; October 8, 2019; December 10, 2019
3. Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission - November 21, 2019
4. Personnel Commission - October 29, 2019
5. Planning Commission - December 10, 2019
6. Public Safety and Human Relations Commission - December 9, 2019
7. Water Board - December 10, 2019; January 14, 2020
2020-2025 Key Strategic Targets and Goals
Providing the agendas and minutes from each of the City’s Boards, Commissions and
Citizen Advisory Committees to the Mayor and City Council is in alignment with Key
Target No. 2: Focused, Aligned Leadership And Unified Community by building a
culture that attracts, retains, and motivates the highest quality talent.

Conclusion
It is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino,
California, receive and file the minutes from the City Board, Commission, and Citizen
Advisory Committee meetings approved in December 2019 and January 2020.
