The Joint Special Meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino
was called to order by Mayor Valdivia at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 21, 2018, in the
Council Chamber, 201 North "E" Street, San Bernardino, CA.

1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Agency designated representatives: Mayor Valdivia or designee.
Unrepresented employee: City Manager.
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of
Section 54956.9 (one potential case).
Closed Session Report
Assistant City Attorney Thomas Rice stated there was no reportable action regarding
the actions at Closed Session.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
The next joint regular meeting of the Mayor and City Council and the Mayor and City
Council Acting as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for
4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in the Council Chamber at 201 North “E”
Street, San Bernardino, California 92401. Closed Session will begin at 4:00 p.m. and
Open Session will begin at 5:00 p.m.
