She attended Ramona- Alessandro Elementary School and several middle schools, including Richard PREP Hi, Arrowview as well as home schooling. This year, Sabrina will graduate from Arroyo Valley High School where she currently holds a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.9. Sabrina's guardians are her grandparents Evangelina and Francisco Fernandez as well as her Aunt Angie Fernandez. She has three brothers Jason Velarde, a 4th grader, Jacob, a 2nd grader, and Johnny, a 1St grader who attend Ramona-Alessandro Elementary School. Sabrina's favorite subject is Math and she is also enrolled in one Advanced Placement class, Human Geography. With a heavy schedule, she finds time to participate in school activities. She is a cheerleader, Vice President of the CORE Academy and president of the Alive Club. Even though she has not received acceptance yet, Sabrina plans to attend University of California, Irvine where she will major in Criminal Justice. Sabrina's message to all students, especially those at her school, is to get an education so you will not become a negative statistic.
