SUBJECT
Set a public hearing to consider adoption of resolution establishing the fees and rates to be charged for the
collection of refuse, green wastes and recyclables.
BACKGROUND
The Ways and Means Committee met and heard the Department of Public Services Refuse Rate Presentation on
Wednesday,June 17`s. The Ways and Means Committee directed that this item be forwarded to the Mayor and
Common Council meeting of July 6, 1998, and that the Mayor and Common Council set this item for public
hearing on July 20, 1998, 10:00 am.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None from this action.
RECOMMINDATION
That the Mayor and Common Council set a public hearing for the Council meeting of July 20, 1998, at 10:00 am
in order to consider the adoption of the resolution establishing the fees and rates to be charged for the collection
of refuse, green wastes and recyclables.
