Project No. SS04-012 and Federal Aid Project No. BRLS-5033 (042).
Background
On May 6, 2013, the City entered into an Agreement for Services in the amount of
$3,104,088 with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. to provide Consulting Services for the
preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) and Right-of-Way
Acquisition for Mount Vernon Avenue Overhead Replacement Project, CIP Project No.
SSO4-012, Bridge No. 54C-0066, Federal Aid Project No. BRLS-5033 (042) (Project).
Work on the Project has progressed and is about 30% completed.
On June 6, 2016, the Mayor and Common Council adopted a Resolution extending the
expiration date of said Agreement for Services with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. to
December 31, 2016. This time extension was requested by the San Bernardino
Associated Governments (SANBAG) pending the transfer of the Project to SANBAG,
which includes the transfer of federal funding and the assumption of the Service
Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
At the time, it was anticipated that the transfer could be completed by December 31,
2016; however, due to federal funding cycles, it has become apparent that the transfer
cannot be completed this year and is expected to be completed by February 2017.
SANBAG is requesting that the expiration date of the Agreement for Services with
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. be extended to June 30, 2017, which will give a few
months extra in case of additional unanticipated delays.

This AMENDMENT is made and entered into this day of

extend the term of this Agreement to June 30, 2017, unless terminated sooner as Q

Resolution Nos. 2013-081 and 2016-108 shall remain unchanged.
