Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s):
On September 21, 1998, the Community Development Commission adopted
the Agency's Personnel Policies and Procedures.
On September 28, 1998, the Redevelopment Committee reviewed the
proposed Agency reorganization.

Recommended Motion(s):

MOTION A: That the Community Development Commission adopt the proposed
Organization Chart for the City of San Bernardino Economic
Development Agency.
MOTION B: RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO
EXHIBIT "A", EXHIBIT "B" AND SECTION 32 OF THE PERSONNEL
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY.

I RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO,CALIFORNIA,APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO EXHIBIT "A,"
3 EXHIBIT "B" AND SECTION 32 OF THE PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
FOR ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ECONOMIC
4 DEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
5 WHEREAS, on September 21, 1998, the Community Development Commission
6 ("Commission")approved and adopted revised Economic Development Agency of the City of San
7 Bernardino Personnel Policies and Procedures for all employees of the City of San Bernardino
8 Economic Development Agency ("Agency"), including Exhibits "A," "B" and "C;" and
9 WHEREAS, as a result of the Chairperson's initiatives and recommendations it is desirable
10 and necessary to amend said Personnel Policies and Procedures.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION DOES
12 HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
13 SECTION 1. The Commission hereby approves and adopts Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B,"
14 as amended, to said Personnel Policies and Procedures, both as attached hereto and incorporated
15 herein by this reference as if set forth in its entirety.
16 SECTION 2. The first sentence only in Section 32 of said Personnel Policies and
17 Procedures is hereby amended to now read as follows:
18 "Subject to prior written request and authorization,
management employees (Executive Director of the Agency,
19 and the Directors of(1) Development, (2) Administrative Services,
(3) Business Recruitment, Retention and Revitalization, and
20 (4) Housing and Community Development) are eligible for a
fixed monthly equivalent Automobile Allowance."
