Arrangements have been made for police, fire, and refuse services through its many volunteers and supporters. The Ronald McDonald House has had similar functions at its facility in Loma Linda, but chose San Bernardino for this event to bring exposure to the City. Ronald McDonald House would like to use the TUP fee to further support its programs. It charges families $5 per night to stay at the facility and the TUP fee would cover approximately 62 nights. Chapter 3.13 of the Municipal Code provides for fee waivers and refunds for charitable organizations. COSTS TO CITY The Temporary Use Permit application and $308 fee were submitted on September 8, 1998. No other permits or fees were required for this application. MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OPTIONS The Mayor and Common Council may approve the refund of$308; or The Mayor and Common Council may deny the refund of$308. .
