Each project that receives funding requires a program supplement that is used to obligate the funds that are being provided. The State is ready to begin preliminary engineering on the seismic retrofit of 16 bridges within the City of San Bernardino. All funding for the project is from the State and Federal Government. Due, in part to the complexity of securing consultants and the procedures involved, the City requested the State to make the selection and complete the preliminary design for the bridges . Total estimated cost for this portion of the project is $14 , 000 . 00 . No City funds will be required since State seismic funds will be provided to finance the local matching requirement. Ile recommend that Program Supplement No. 85 be approved. URGENCY CLAUSE Caltrans has requested that this program supplement be executed as soon as possible, since no invoices for reimbursement can be processed until this agreement is fully executed. 12--09-96 75-0264 Date: November 12, 1996 PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. 085 Location: 08-SBD-0-SBD to Project Number: STPLZ-5033 (012) LOCAL AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT E.A.
