Description) Street Improvements - San Bernardino Trade Center & International Airport Finance: o Council Notes: f tv 75-0262 Agenda Item No.o CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Plans have been prepared for the improvement of Art Townsend Drive and Otto Gericke Drive at the San Bernardino Trade Center and International Airport, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in general , of improving those streets with paving, curbs and gutters, sidewalk, street lights and 10--inch water main. Below is an estimate of the total project cost: Construction Contract - $ 304 , 883 Construction Inspection (W.O. #1993) 30 , 488 Sub-Total $ 335 , 371 Contingencies (150) ± 50 , 629 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 386 , 000 All costs incurred for this project will be charged to Account No. 242-362--5504-7093 , and billed to the grant from the Federal Economic Development Administration and Inland Valley Development Agency. No City funds will be used to finance any portion of this project. We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids . 12-05-96 75-0264
