Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action:
June, 1995 -- Allocation of $115,000.00 in 1995/96 CDBG Program, for renovation to the
Boys and Girls Club, approved.

Recommended Motion: That the Plans resurfacing the parking lot at the Boys and
Girls Club, in accordance with Plan No. 9594, be approved, and the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer, be authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plan for resurfacing the parking lot for the Boys and Girls
Club have been prepared, and the project is ready to be
advertised for bids. The program consists, in general , of
repairing the pavement as needed, resurfacing the lot with
i-inch asphalt concrete , and restriping the lines delineating
the parking stalls .
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 24, 500.00
Engr. & Insp. (W.O. No. 5022 ) . . . . $ 2, 500.00
Sub-Total $ 27 ,000.00
Contingencies ( 15%) +/- . . . . . . . . . . $ 4 , 000.00
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 31 , 000 .00
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to the
$115,000.00 allocated in the 1995/96 CDBG Program, under
Account No. 806-30
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization be
granted to advertise for bids.
