CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Members of the City Council and City Staff have received complaints
regarding the lack of all day parking at the Feldheym Library.
Although the second north/south row counting from east to west is
available for all day use, it is not readily apparent .
A parking lot use survey was performed which showed the available
parking was rarely above 50% usage with a peak usage of 580 .
Facilities Management Staff proposed the attached changes to the
Library Staff and to the Library Board of Trustees who approved the
plan at their October 15 meeting.
The attached changes will make all day parking at the Library more
abundant and more apparent which will reduce complaints and
questions and encourage additional use of library facilities .
