In addition, presentations will be given throughout the day on methods for assisting children with disabilities through the use of technology activities. This event is designed to provide information on the latest technological devices and programs for children with disabilities. We are preparing for fifty to seventy-five vendors who will display and demonstrate their products to an audience of approximately five hundred teachers, school administrators, parents of children with disabilities and the general public. We recently reserved the Stampede Stadium, "The Ranch," for this unique event, and were told by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department that the rental fee of 52,500 could be waived by your office for community service projects. Since our program definitely falls within the description of a community service event and we are a non - profit educational organization, we are requesting that the $2,500 facility fee be waived. We are more than willing to acknowledge the City of Sari Bernardino as a co-sponsor on all advertising, as well as on the event program which will be distributed to all attendees. Thank you for taking time from your busy scheduled to consider our request. Please let us know as soon as possible whether or not the fee waiver is approved, so that we can proceed with our planning.
