Motion: Refer the pending item to the Quality of Life Committee.
Background:
At the April 4, 2016 Meeting of the Mayor and Common Council, the Mayor Pro
Tempore designated committee assignments. The Ways and Means Committee was
inactivated and the Quality of Life Committee was activated. The Mayor Pro Tempore
directed all previous Ways and Means Committee items to be heard at the Quality of
Life Committee Meetings. The following pending item was previously discussed by
Council Members who will no longer serve on the Ways and Means Committee:
1. STREET SWEEPING PARKING RESTRICTIONS - City Attorney
Date: March 9, 2016
Recommended Action: Continue this item for 3 months to allow staff to
prepare a cost analysis to implement street sweeping
parking restrictions.
