Motion: Create the Fact Finding Tour Ad Hoc Committee and appoint Council
members Valdivia, Nickel and Barrios to the committee
Background:
The Legislative Review Committee has determined it is advantageous to visit other
jurisdictions in the state to study the methods they use for regulating medical marijuana.
The LRC is a standing committee and therefore prohibited from meeting outside the
City's boundaries or outside an open and public meeting, necessitating the creation of
an ad hoc committee.
