TONY OLIVAREZ
2nd Runner Up
Mr. Cardinal 2016-2017
Tony Olivarez is in the 11th Grade. He carries a 3.42 GPA. Tony
would like to attend Humbolt State University. His favorite subject is
American History. In his spare time, Tony enjoys reading and playing
guitar.
JASON MUNGUIA
1St Runner Up
Mr. Cardinal 2016-2017
Jason Munguia is a Junior at San Bernardino High School. He
currently has a 3.7 GPA. He would love to attend Cal State San
Bernardino, UCR or Cal State Fullerton. Jason hopes to achieve his dream
of majoring in medicine, and either working as a general physician at St.
Bernardine or Redlands Community Hospital. But, before he does any of
that, he would like to enlist in the United States Navy and go to active duty
for two years. Jason's hobbies include reading, writing his own short
stories/poems, and running with the SBHS Cross Country and Track and
Field teams.
JULIO ROMERO
Mr. Cardinal
2016-2017
Julio Romero is a Junior at San Bernardino High School. He currently
has a 4.27 GPA. Julio hopes to attend Johns Hopkins University where he
plans to major in Pre-Med. In his spare time, Julio enjoys playing tennis
and reading.
