Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
Background:
The Police Department was awarded $200,000 of CDBG funding in fiscal year
2015/2016 for the security camera expansion project which were incorrectly budgeted in
the Police, Grants, Part-time salaries budget. In order to proceed with the camera
expansion project a budget amendment is required to transfer funds from the Police
Grants budget to the Police CDBG grants budget. Due to the amount of funds and a
transfer to a different program code, Council approval is required.
The Police Department requests that $200,000 budgeted in account number 123-210-
0001-5014 be transferred to 119-210-2168-5704.
