Synopsis of Previous Commission/Councit/Committee Action(s):
On May 5, 1997,the Mayor and Common Council approved and adopted the Community Development Citizen
Advisory Committee's recommendations for the 1996/1997 Fiscal Year funds,with modifications and caveats,and
authorized the Mayor to submit these projects as part of the Second Year Action Plan component of the Consolidated
Plan to the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Recommended Motion(s):

MOTION: That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino accept these projects as part of
the Consolidated Plan and authorize and direct the execution of Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG)Funding Agreements between the City of San Bernardino and the corresponding Agencies.

Consolidated Plan Related Items
Consolidated Plan Related Items
The Third Year Action Plan, as amended, was approved by the Mayor and Common Council of
the City of San Bernardino and has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD).
HUD requires that all environmental reviews be completed prior to any funds being committed, or
agreements executed. Staff has received the completed environmental reviews for the group of
projects listed below and is now requesting authorization to execute standard CDBG Agreements.
