Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s):
On May 5, 1997,the Mayor and Common Council approved and adopted the Community Development Citizen
Advisory Committee's recommendations for the 1997/1998 Fiscal Year Federal funds. Included in the action,was the
approval of projects for funding during the mid-year reallocation process(to reprogram certain 1996/1997 FY funds)
with amendments.

MOTION: That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino authorize and direct the execution
of Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)Funding Agreements between the City of San
Bernardino and the corresponding Agency(97-211)

Consolidated Plan Related Items
The Third Year Action Plan, as amended, was approved by the Mayor and Common Council of
the City of San Bernardino and has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD).
HUD requires that all environmental reviews be completed prior to any funds being committed, or
agreements executed. Staff has received the completed environmental review on May 28, 1997,
for the project listed below and is now requesting authorization to execute a standard CDBG
MOU.
