Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s):
On June 16, 1997,the Mayor and Common Council approved and adopted an amendment to the Second Year Action
Plan component of the Consolidated Plan and authorized staff to submit the amendment to the U.S.Department of
Housing and Urban Development.

MOTION: That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino authorize and direct the execution
of a Community Development Block Grant funding agreement between the City of San Bernardino
and the corresponding agency.(Project 96-234)

Consolidated Plan Related Items
The Third Year Action Plan, as amended, was approved by the Mayor and Common Council of
the City of San Bernardino and has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD).
HUD requires that all environmental reviews be completed prior to any funds being committed, or
agreements executed. Staff has received the completed environmental review on October 24,
1997, for the project listed below and is now requesting authorization to execute a standard
CDBG MOU.
