1 . Study session on status of San Bernardino International
Airport Authority lease and leaseback financing and possible
City joint ownership of airport - possible action to approve
in concept . (See Attached) (Backup material was distributed
on February 2, 1998, Item No. S1; was continued to February
16, 1998, Item No. 23; and was continued to March 16, 1998,
Item No. 23 . )
MOTION: That the Mayor and Common Council approve in
concept that the City of San Bernardino, in
conjunction with the County of San Bernardino and
each city member of the San Bernardino
International Airport Authority, acquire title to
the airport properties and be jointly and severally
liable pursuant to the lease and leaseback
financing documents .
