" 8/19/96, 9/16/96 and 10/7/96 - Mayor and Common Council established salaries for the Police and Fire Departments. Recommended Motion: Adopt resolution. OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT On August 19, 1996, salaries were established for the following Police Department classifications: P-1, P-2, P-3 & LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINEE On August 19, 1996, salaries were established for the following Police Department classifications: P-4, P-5, P-6 & P-7 On September 16, 1996, salaries were established for the following Fire Department classifications: P-5, P-6, P-7, FIRE MARSHAL & TRAINING OFFICER On October 7, 1996, salaries were established for the following Fire Department classifications: P-1, P-2/PARAMEDIC, P-3, P-4 (CAPTAIN) & P-4 (INVESTIGATOR) Section Three of Resolution No. 6429 is being amended to reflect the above Council actions. As reflected in the attached resolution, the Personnel Department was directed by the Mayor and Common Council to amend Resolution No. 6429.
