Description) Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No. CC!TY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT On April 4 , 1995, the Board of Water Commissioners accepted a water line easement prepared by Ronald Bundy, P. E. , for the Prime Line project located on Industrial Parkway. This water line easement was recorded as Instrument No. 95-199454 with the County of San Bernardino. During the installation of the water facilities for Prime Line, it was determined that the water line easement contained technical errors and was incorrect. The Water Department staff corrected and rewrote the easement which was accepted by the City Clerk and properly executed and recorded on or about June 20, 1996 with the County of San Bernardino as Instrument No. 96-218097 . The current property owner, University Service Center Partners, has requested a Quitclaim of the incorrect water line easement (Instrument No. 95-199454) to avoid the potential for future problems. The Board of Water Commissioners accepted the Quitclaim Deed for the erroneous water line easement on July 2 , 1996 and requested that it be forwarded to the Mayor and Common Council for their consideration and approval . The replacement waterline easement is in place. A Quitclaim Deed for the incorrect water line easement has been prepared and checked by the City of San Bernardino' s Real Property Section and our Water Department Engineering Section. A corrected water line easement has been filed on or about June 20, 1996 with the County of San Bernardino as Instrument No. 96-218097 . Attached is the Quitclaim Deed and the revised water line easement.
