STAFF REPORT
On Saturday, April 15, 1995, Dales Modern Cycles will be holding a
motorcycle street fair fundraising event to benefit the Easter Seal
Society, in the 1100 block of North Wall Street from 8: 00 a.m. to
5: 00 p.m. A street closure has been requested to safely facilitate
the event.
The Easter Seal Society, a non-profit organization, is requesting
a waiver of all City fees in connection with personnel & equipment
costs for the event. Those costs amount to:
1. $ 50. 00 -- Police personnel
2 . $ 50. 00 -- Traffic Engineering barricades
3 . $ 75. 00 -- refundable barricade deposit
Total $172 .78
The Easter Seal Society has applied for and received applicable
Police Department permits for this event.

Dear Mayor,
The Easter Seal Society of the Inland Counties is requesting to be
placed on the agenda of the next City Council meeting scheduled for
Monday, March 20, 1995.
We would like to request a waiver of all city fees for a fund raising
event scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 1995. This will be a Street
Party sponsored by Dale's Modern Cycles with the proceeds to
benefit the Easter Seal Society.
The Easter Seal Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We
are supported by contributions and fund raising events and our
resources are limited.
Your consideration of this request is greatly appreciated.
