Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s):
On November 21, 1994, the Community Development Commission continued
to December 19, 1994 a motion that would declare the Community
Development Commission as a separate legal entity from the Mayor and
Common Council; that the meetings of each separate body has its own
rules, policies and procedures; that the meeting of the Commission
would convene at 11:00 a.m, as a separate and distinct body following
the adjournment of the meeting of the Mayor and Common Council; and
that the meeting of the Mayor and Common Council may be reconvened
during a meeting of the Commission only upon the concurrence of four
(4) affirmative votes by the Commission.

MOTION: That the Community Development Commission rescind prior
Commission actions which bifurcated Council-Commission agenda
items, and direct staff to reinstate the previous Commission
agenda practices.

Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s) Continued
On December 19, 1994, the Community Development Commission approved the
November 21, 1994 motion.
On January 9, 1995, the Mayor and Common Council tabled a motion
regarding the convening of the meeting of the Community Development
Commission as approved by the Commission on December 19, 1994, which
required action by the Mayor and Common Council.
On January 9, 1995, the Community Development Commission continued to
January 12, 1995 a motion that required that the Economic Development
Administrator not place any Community Development Commission item on
the City Agenda, and that no item that requires Mayor and Common
Council action be placed on the Commission Agenda.
On January 12, 1995, the Community Development Commission approved the
motion continued from January 9, 1995.
