RE: Agenda Item for Mayor and Council Meeting of February
6 , 1995 - An Ordinance of the City of San Bernardino
amending Section 2 . 56 . 010 and Section 2 . 56 . 150 of the San
Bernardino Municipal Code relating to dates of elections .
Background Information:
On June 2, 1992, the voters of the City voted to amend Section 10
of the Charter to change the primary election dates for City
elections from March to November and the general election dates
from May to the following February. These changes become effective
this year. The attached ordinance implements that change and
brings the municipal code into conformance with the charter change.
Form Motion:
That further reading of- the ordinance be waived and that it be laid
over for final adoption.
