Finance: 'l Council Notes: MEW 75-0262 Agenda Item No. CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST PIR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT On January 10, 1994, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works were authorized to proceed with the expansion of boundaries of Assessment District No. 981, in the Meridian and Randall area. The expansion is a result of a requirement of the developer of Tract No. 14390 to request expansion of the Assessment District adjoining this development to include said tract within the district boundaries. In September 19, 1994, the Resolution of Intention for the expansion of boundaries and amending the district was approved and on October 17, 1994, the Resolution ordering the expansion and amending the district was approved. �I 1 Prior to confirming the first assessment roll, which is only for the cost of the proceedings, a public meeting and hearing must be held, since this represents a new assessment. All property owners liable to be assessed, as shown on the last equalized tax roll, which is the developer of this tract, will be given mailed notice of the meeting and hearing.
