Recommended motion:
That the plans for modification of restroom building at Patton Park
South (for Highland Little League) to comply with the requirements
of the Americans with Disabilities Act, in accordance with Plan No.
9250 , be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer
be authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for modification of the restroom building at Patton
Park South for Highland Little League have been completed by the
Consulting Engineer, and the project is ready to be advertised
for bids. The project consists, in general , of reconstructing
the floor, installing new toilet fixtures, doors and concrete
walkway with handicap ramps.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 32 , 700
Consultant' s Design Fee 4,950
Construction Inspection (W.O. #1777) 1 ,500
Sub-Total $ 38 , 150
Contingencies (5%) ± 1 , 850
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 40,000
An amount of $40 ,000 has been allocated in the Park Con-
struction Fee Budget, under Account No. 243-363-5504-1777 , to
finance the costs that will be incurred for those improvements.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
