MOTION: That the personnel action as submitted by the Executive Director dated April 8, 1999, in accordance
with Personnel Policies and Procedures for Employees of the City of San Bernardino Economic
Development Agency adopted by the Community Development Commission,be approved and ratified.

SUBJECT: PERSONNEL ACTION FOR COMMISSION AGENDA OF
APRIL 19, 1999

The Agency currently has a vacant Project Manager position. This is a budgeted and
funded position within the Development Division. Due to the depletion in Community
Development staff through resignation and incapacitation, the position, when filled, will
be assigned to the Housing and Community Development Division. Under direction of
the HCD Director, the position is critical to increasing and subsequently maintaining a
higher level of efficiency in handling the day to day activities associated with planning,
implementing and monitoring the CDBG, HOME and ESG programs.
At the meeting of April 19, 1999, the Chairperson desires to appoint, with Commission
approval, Mr. Musibau Arogundade to the Project Manager position heretofore
referenced, at Range MM 2185, Step "E", effective April 26, 1999.
FORM MOTION: That the personnel action as submitted by the Executive Director
dated April 8, 1999, in accordance with Personnel Policies and Procedures for
Employees of the City of San Bernardino Economic Development Agency adopted by the
Community Development Commission, be approved and ratified.
