STAFF REPORT
Guadalupe Youth Baseball League is requesting the waiver of fees
for their field for an adult softball tournament on March 19-21,
1993 . Proceeds from this tournament will go directly to the youth
league program. Chuck Resendez, President of the League, has
indicated that the league will not be selling alcohol.
This request conforms to the requirements for waivers contained in
Resolution 91-35.
Approval is recommended.

Dear Council Members :
We , the members of Guadalupe Youth League , which is a youth
baseball program working with children ages 5 - 12 years old are
requesting a waiver of fees for the use of Guadalupe Field on
March 19 , 20 and 21 , 1993 .
We are hosting a tournament as a league fundraiser . The proceeds
from this fundraiser wi l l be used to help with league expenses ,
uniforms , equipment , etc .
Mr . John Kramer is delivering this request for your approval .
Should the waiver be granted , please notify him so he may in turn
notify our Tournament Fundraiser Chairperson .
At this time we would like to thank the council for their time
and also Mr . Kramer for his help and interest in , out city and
it ' s youth .

We Guadalupe Youth League of San Bernardino is having a Fund
Raising Slopitch Softball Tournament at Guadalupe Field.
At the moment we are behind schedule in registration and
fund raising funds. We would like to ask the San Bernardino
City Council, Parks and Recreations for its help by considering
waiving its park usage fees and deposits at this time.
The children of our community will benefit from this waiver to
help purchase uniforms, equipment this season.
Guadalupe Youth League and children would appreciate this very
much.
