RE: Resolution Requesting Services from County Registrar of
Voters for May 4, 1993 Municipal Election

Pursuant to Election Code Section 22003, any city may by
resolution request the County Board of Supervisors to render
election-related services.
For all past municipal elections, the City has contracted with
the Registrar of Voters' Office to provide supplies and services.
We need formal adoption of the attached resolution which will
permit the County Registrar of Voters to furnish the services and
supplies which will be needed for the run-off election on May 4,
1993.
Recommend approval of the attached resolution.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REQUESTING
2 THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO
PERMIT THE COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES TO THE
3 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, RELATING TO A MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON MAY 4 , 1993 .

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
5 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. As authorized by Section 22003 of the
7 Election Code of the State of California, the Mayor and Common
8 Council request that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
9 San Bernardino permit the County Registrar of Voters to furnish
10 services and supplies to this City for use in the General
11 Municipal Election to be held on May 4 , 1993 . The services and
12 supplies to be provided are a data processing tape containing
13 the name and addresses of all registered voters in the City of
14 San Bernardino, four indexes per polling place, polling place
15 roster indexes, voting machines, flags, and other services as
16 may be required by the City Clerk for the conduct of the
17 election.
18 SECTION 2 . The City shall reimburse the County of San
19 Bernardino for services performed when the work is completed
20 and upon presentation of a properly approved bill.
21 SECTION 3 . The City Clerk shall transmit certified
22 copies of this resolution to the Board of Supervisor and the
23 Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino.
