Description) Sections 301, 303, & 305 Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No. CITY OF SAN BER ARDINO - REQUEST OR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT The subject property was appraised by Edward Hill of Hill & Associates on May 5, 1995. His valuation is the basis for the minimum t .1 price of $150,000. The bid package has been prepared and attached in accordance with the procedures followed when the City sells City-owned property valued in excess of $2,000.00. Upon passage of the enclosed resolution, copies of the bid package will be mailed out to those potential buyers who express interest in the property. The City Clerk will advertise the sale of 1505 North Waterman Avenue in The Sun for the weekends of May 27 and 28, 1995 and June 3 and 4, t995. The property will also be listed with the San Bernardino Board of Realtors and a City "For Sale" sign will be placed on the property. Any broker's commissions will be paid by the Buyer, and any accepted bid will be net of any broker's fee. The Real Property Section will proceed with the sale of the property. The sealed bids are due on or before 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 1995. Additional time has been allowed for the submittal of bids on the property as the City can not carry back any financing on the sale. The sucessful bidder will need to have any financing needs arranged prior to opening escrow. The results of the sealed bid opening will be presented to the Mayor and Common Council at the July 10, 1995 Council Meeting.
