04-04-95 -- Resolution No. 94-86 adopted authorizing execution of
an Agreement with Bonadiman Engineers for professional
design services.

Recommended motion:
1 . That the plans for installation of Phase II , of the Northwest
Interceptor Sewer, from 5th Street and "L" Street to Medical Center
Drive and 6th Street, in accordance with Plan No. 9194 , be
approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids.
2 . That the transfer of $360 , 100 , from Account No. 245-365-5504-1528
to Account No. 245-365-5504-1527 , be approved.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for installation of Phase II of the Northwest
Interceptor Sewer have been prepared by the Consulting Civil
Engineering Firm, and the project is ready to be advertised for
bids. The project consists, in general , of installing 27 - 30
inch intercepting sewer, from 5th Street and "L" Street to
Medical Center Drive and 6th Street.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 704 , 600
Consultant' s Design Fee 25 , 600
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1527) 24 , 400
Sub-Total $ 754 , 600
Contingencies (15%) ± 113 , 400
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 868 , 000
Funds have been allocated, as set forth below, in the
Sewer Line Construction Fund Budget to finance the costs that
will be incurred for this project.

TOTAL AVAILABLE FUNDS $ 867, 300
