HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE 2"d DAY OF FEBRUARY 2016, DECLARING THE RESULTS N
4 THEREOF AND SETTING FORTH SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY 3

6 WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City of San
7 Bernardino on the 2nd day of February 2016, as required by law; and

WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly given in the time, form and manner =

9 as provided by law; voting precincts were properly established; election officers were appointed and in
10 all respects said election was held and the returns made and declared in the time, form, and manner as w
required by the provisions of the Charter of the City of San Bernardino and the Elections Code of the Q,
11 State of California for the holding of public elections in the City of San Bernardino; and •_

WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino canvassed the returns of
13
said election and has certified the results to this City Council and said results are received, attached and a
14 made a part hereof as Exhibit"A" and Exhibit `B;" c

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
16 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
17 Section 1: That on February 2, 2016, there were 8,513 registered voters in Ward Six in the v
City of San Bernardino.

19 Section 2: That on February 2, 2016, there were 10,695 registered voters in Ward Seven in r
the City of San Bernardino.

21 Section 3: That said General Municipal Election was held for the purpose of electing the 2
2 2 Council Member for Ward Six and Council Member for Ward Seven of the City of San Bernardino. w

23 Section 4: That the total of all votes cast in Ward Six was 1,099, or 12.91 percent of the 04
24 registered voters.

Section 5: That the total of all votes cast in Ward Seven was 1,669, or 15.6 percent of the 4.;
26 registered voters.

Section 6: That the number of votes given at each precinct and the number of votes given in Q
