Financial Impact:
This item is requesting public comments on a proposal to increase the approved
Community Development total CDBG allocation for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 from
$750,000 to $890,000, a total increase of $140,000, which is available in the City's
credit line.

Motion: Close the hearing; and authorize Substantial Amendment #3 to the City of
San Bernardino's CDBG 2015/2016 Action Plan allocating an additional
$140,000 to the Community Development CDBG Department Budget.
Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
On April 06, 2015 the Mayor and Common Council approved the 2015/2016 CDBG
Action Plan, which included a total of$750,000 of CDBG funds for the Community
Development Department. The proposed projects are Demolition ($550,000) and salary
off-set for Code Enforcement ($200,000).
Background:
The Community Development Department is requesting Council allocate an additional
$140,000 of CDBG funds to the department budget for a total 2015/2016 CDBG Budget
of $890,000. This action requires a public hearing and Council approval.
