(#4212) Current Business Registration Certificate: Not Applicable Financial Impact: The overall Charter 186 financial impact for the Fire Management group will result in an increase of approximately $49,100.00 to the General Fund, requiring an appropriation from the General Fund fund balance to the various Fire Department salary and benefit accounts. Motion: Adopt the Resolution. Synopsis of Previous Council Action: On December 1, 2014, the Mayor and Common Council approved the establishment of salaries for Fire Department Ranges P-5 (Battalion Chief), P-6 (Deputy Fire Chief), and P-7 (Fire Chief), effective August 1, 2014. Background: Section 186 of the City Charter establishes a formula for setting salaries for local safety members, effective August 1 of each year. An agreement was reached with the Fire Management Unit for the 10 cities to be used for this year's calculations. The salaries of those cities have been averaged to determine the salaries for 2015-16 Fire Management classifications.
