REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF FEES
FOR THE USE OF BLEACHERS AND
TRAILER STAGE
Steven Lengel with San Manuel Indian Bingo has requested the use of
four (4) sets of bleachers and the portable trailer stage for their
First Annual Christmas Show for Children. This event is free to
the public and will be held in the parking lot at San Manuel. This
event will provide a benefit to the residents of the City of San
Bernardino during the Christmas Holidays.
The costs are: Fees for Park Equipment
1) Bleachers $ 465
2) Stage 250
Total $ 715
Steve Lengel with San Manuel Indian Bingo has requested that the
fees be waived.
Justification for placing on the Supplemental Agenda is that this
request was received after the deadline for the Regular Agenda and
action is necessary prior to the December 20, 1993 Council Meeting.

Re: WAIVE FEES
Dear MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
We are planning a Christmas Variety show for the children, the show is open to the public
and local disadvantaged children groups are being personally invited. The show is free to all
who wish to attend. We are bringing in professional performers as well as local entertainers
and costumed volunteers. We have also made arrangements for the D.A.R.E. Bear costume
and the Crime Dog McGruff to be used by our volunteers at this event. We intend for this
show to be fun for all ages.
We are having this show outdoors so we are in need of bleachers and a portable stage,
items which are available through your Parks and Recreation Dept. We would like to ask if
the city would waive the fees on these items for our special event. Please consider our
request.
