CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
On May 16 , 1996, the Mayor and Common Council approved revenue
enhancements through an increase of parking citation penalties .
The City is currently charging less than neighboring cities on many
of the City' s code violations (see attached) . This resolution would
establish the City' s bail schedule to be more in line with
surrounding cities .
The proposed penalty increase should generate an additional $15, 000
per year.
Staff recommends increase to bail forfeiture schedule be approved.
