This intersection is currently uncontrolled. Our Traffic Engineering staff conducted an investigation in response to this request. The investigation found that due to limited visibility, stop signs are warranted for northbound and southbound traffic. ITherefore, we recommend that the installation of stop signs for northbound and southbound traffic be approved for the "J" Street approaches. Also included in the attached resolution are stop signs that have been previously approved on the approaches to 8th Street at other intersections . These stop signs were approved under Resolution No. 2482 . For consistency, it is recommended that they be included in Resolution No. 655 . 6-20-96 NORTH 9TH ST J LU Q -- --- --- ,--- 0 - C U) w c w > ~ _co Z `o '' `o C '' - > Q -' LU =.8TH T = D 0 -- U INE 5T C ==7TH==ST LOCATION OF PROPOSED STOP SIGNS FOR NORTH 4-SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC EXISTING STOP SIGNS Q
