Works authorized to negotiate cooperative agreement with
City of Loma Linda.
10-19-92 - Resolution No. 92-409 adopted authorizing execution of
co-operative agreement with Loma Linda for improvement
of Tippecanoe Avenue at I-10 Freeway.
07-19-93 - Negative Declaration adopted and finding of consistency
made.
05-06-96 - Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise

Bids for widening Tippecanoe Avenue, from Redlands
Boulevard to Hospitality Lane, were received on Tuesday, May 14 ,
1996 , at 2 : 00 p.m. A total of 6 bids were received, ranging
from $326 , 419 . 45 to $458 , 222 . 65 . The low bid of $326 ,419 . 45 is
9 . 2% below the Engineer' s Estimate of $359 ,500 . 00 .
Below is the total estimated project cost, based upon the
actual low bid price.
Construction Contract $ 326 ,419 . 45
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1501) 12 ,500 . 00
Sub-Total $ 338 , 919 . 45
Contingencies (150) ± 51 , 080 .55
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 390 , 000 . 00
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
Account No. 250-370-5504-1501 , "Tippecanoe - Redlands Boulevard
to Hospitality Lane, " and reimbursed in the proportion of 880
from Federal-Aid STP Funds and 12% by the Inland Valley Develop-
ment Agency.
We recommend that a contract be awarded to the low
bidder.
