Description) Street Improvements - San Bernardino Trade Center & International Airport Financ Council Notes: 75-0262 Aqenda Item No. CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Plans have been prepared for drilling two wells and appurtenant facilities at the San Bernardino Trade Center and International Airport, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in general , of drilling a 16" domestic water well and a 12" irrigation water well, and developing the wells. Installation of piping and pump equipment will be done Iunder subsequent contracts. Below is an estimate of the total project cost: Construction Contract $ 546 , 000 Construction Inspection (W.O. #1993) 14 ,000 Sub-Total $ 560 , 000 Contingencies (50) ± 28 , 000 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 588 , 000 All costs incurred for this project will be charged to Account No. 242-362-5504-1993 , and billed to the grant from the Federal Economic Development Administration and Inland Valley De- velopment Agency. No City funds will be used to finance any portion of this project. We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. 5-23-96
