STAFF REPORT
RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION
NO. 94-66 ENTITLED IN PART, "RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING FEES FOR
USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES, INCLUDING
PUBLIC PARKS..."
In an effort to reduce the costs of processing and to make more efficient use of valuable council
meeting time, it is suggested that Resolution 94-66, the fee schedule for use of parks and
facilities be amended to authorize the Mayor and his designee to approve waiver of fees. This
would allow the Mayor to waive the fees or to designate the City Administrator or the Director
of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to do so.
This method will provide "one stop shopping" convenience for facility use applicants and will
reduce processing time for special events.
