The low bid of $122 ,397 . 25 is 3 . 3% above the Engineer' s Estimate of $118 , 500 . 00 . Below is the total estimated project cost, based upon the actual low bid price: Construction Contract $ 122 , 397 . 25 Engineering & Inspection (W.O. 1911) 11 , 500 . 00 Sub-Total $ 133 , 897 . 25 Contingencies (9%) ± 12 , 052 . 75 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 145 , 950 . 00 All costs incurred for this project will be charged to the $146 , 350 . 00 allocated under Account No. 250-370-5504-1911 . In view of the fact that 5 bids were received, we feel that the low bid is the best that we can reasonably expect to receive.
