Synopsis of Previous Council action:
NONE
Recommended motion:
1. That the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and the City Clerk be
authorized to proceed with the proposed vacation of a portion of Dumas Street
between Washington Avenue and the San Bernardino County Flood Control channel.
2. That Plan No. 9436 for the proposed vacation of a portion of Dumas Street
between Washington Avenue and the San Bernardino County Flood Control channel, be
approved.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
This department received a request from the San Bernardino Municipal Water
Department to vacate the portion of Dumas Street lying west of Washington
Avenue and east of the San Bernardino County Flood Control channel. Most of the
adjacent land is owned by both the City of Riverside and the City of San
Bernardino (Water Department) .
The first half of the required $1,000.00 total administrative fee was received
along with the Water Department's request to initiate these vacation proceedings.
They have been advised that this portion of the total fee required is non-
refundable.
We will contact the owners of all adjacent properties, as well as all appropriate
City Departments and Utility Companies to solicit comments, concerns, and/or
objections to the proposed vacation.
We recommend that authorization be granted to proceed with the requested
vacation.
