Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Council adopted Resolution #95-387 , authorizing an agreement
with American Cemetery/Mortuary Consultants Inc. , to represent
the City in negotiations for the sale of Pioneer Memorial Cemetery.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
On November 6, 1995, the Mayor and Common Council approved an
agreement with American Cemetery/Mortuary consultants (ACMC) . The
agreement allows ACMC to represent the city in negotiations for the
sale of Pioneer Memorial Cemetery.
The appraisal of the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery has now been
completed by American Cemetery/Mortuary Consultants. The valuation
was prepared using the Income Method of valuing property and was
based primarily on historical and projected sales performances from
available financial information through September 30, 1995. The
appraisal concludes that the cemetery has a value of $926, 513 .
The attached resolution sets the minimum sale price and gives
notice inviting bids. Please note that Mayor and Common Council
maintain the right to accept or reject any or all offers for the
cemetery.
