STAFF REPORT
APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURE OF PARK
CONSTRUCTION FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$18,000 FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
OF POOL COVERS FOR PERRIS HILL SWIM
CENTER POOLS.
These pools are used only during the summer season. The covers are required to protect the
pools in the off season (approximately 40 weeks of the year). The covers will protect the pool
shelter and the circulation systems, reducing maintenance requirements and the potential for
major repairs. In addition to the positive economic and maintenance effects, the covers will
provide for safety and protective purposes as well.
