STAFF REPORT
The transfer of $45 , 000 . to provide funds to finance the
Citv' s share of the cost for installing traffic signals at
Northpark Boulevard and Coyote Drive, was approved at the Council
meeting of 10-16-95 .
A Standard Agreement has been prepared by California
State University to stipulate the duties and responsibilities of
each party. The Agreement provides , in general , that the City-
will proceed to have the traffic signals installed, and that the
University will pay one-half of the cost. Also, that the
University will pay all costs incurred for modification of the
curbed median to accommodate the traffic_ signals.
All costs incurred by the City will be charged to the
$45 , 000 allocated under Account No. 126-369-5504
Maintenance will be performed by the City, with the
University paying one-half of the cost.
We recommend that the Agreement be approved.
