C. as recipient of First Place in the 1995 Keep America Beautiful National Awards in the Government Reduce, Reuse, Recycle category. Expenses are estimated at$1,020 and includes travel fare,hotel and meals for December 5 through December 7, 1995. es R. D Street San Bernardino, CA 92407 Dear Ms. Merrill: Congratulations again on being a 1995 Keep America Beautiful National Award Winner. We are pleased to extend an invitation to you to be presented with your award and receive recognition for your achievement at our 42nd Annual Meeting. We have in our records that the name on your award should read-"City of San Bernardino, Public Services Department" if this is not correct, please contact us immediately. The 1995 awards will be presented: at: KAB's National Awards Dinner on: Wednesday, December 6, 1995 at 7:OOpm in: Washington, D.C. at the J.W. Marriott Hotel This year in order to give the award winners even greater visibility for their efforts, KAB has combined two luncheons to have an awards dinner. This will be a prestigious event. To accommodate everyone receiving an award, some winners will be seated at reserved tables in front of the tiered dais. Because of this different arrangement, it is imperative that all those receiving an award be at the winners reception no later than 6:30pm so that we can organize the winners line up. I. Return the enclosed postcard to KAB, Inc. by November 10th with the name of the person who will be seated at the dais/awards tables to receive the your award. (Note: One person only per award.) If you are unable to send a representative to receive your award, it will be mailed to you. Note: For those who have won in more than one category and are having the same person accept multiple awards, be sure to clearly indicate this on the enclosed postcard. We must have an accurate placement and headcount on the dais and awards tables. 2. A reception honoring award winners begins at 6:OOpm. The location of this reception will be given to winners at KAB's registration area. The Award Winner line-up will take place at 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 6, one half hour before the Awards Dinner. The Awards Dinner begins promptly at 7:OOpm. A Photo Opportunity will take place at the completion of the Awards Dinners (approximately 9:30). Use the enclosed KAB Annual Meeting flyer to register guests who will be attending KAB's annual meeting or the Awards Dinner only. Contact KAB for additional brochures or make photocopies of the registration portion of the brochure as needed. (Guests attending the awards dinner only should check the 4th, (5th optional), and 6th box on the registration form and enclose a $50.00 check per guest. Clearly print your name, organization and address in the Name Tag Information area on the registration form. Note: Guests for the Awards Dinner should be aware that the seating is open except where reserved table signs indicate.
