1 . That the transfer of $64 , 000 , from Account No. 126-000-3405 ,
"Undesignated Balance, " to Account No. 242•-362•-5504-7031 ,
"Bridge Repair - Central Avenue, " be approved.
AND
2 . That the plans for repair of the Central Avenue Bridge, over
East Twin Creek Channel, in accordance with Plan No. 9390 , be
approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for repair of damage to the Central Avenue Bridge,
over East Twin Creek Channel - have been prepared by a consulting
engineer and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The
project consists, in general, of repairing the damage sustained
by detonation of an explosive device.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 30 , 000
Consultant' s Design Fee 23 , 500
Construction Inspection (W.O. #7031) _ 2 ,000
Sub-Total $ 55 , 500
Contingencies (15%) ± _ 8 . 500
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 64 ,000
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
the $64 , 000 allocated under Account No. 242-362-5504-7031 .
Caltrans is working to secure approval of Federal-Aid
funds to finance a portion of the cost incurred.
We recommend that the transferred funds and plans be
approved, and authorization granted to advertise for bids.
