CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN CLASS ACTION SUIT - The Committee recommended tabling this item. The feeling was that the City would jeopardize the General Fund because of the deep pockets position possibilities. Attorney Henry Empeno noted that the City already has a nuisance abatement provision and can join in a lawsuit on a case by case basis. I 2. PENDING ITEMS: - One, Building Permits, was tabled. - The Committee requested that the City Attorney's Office research and review pending item three regarding Salary of Mayor. Item will be brought back to LRC with information regarding the possibility of presenting the item to the voters in February's election. Meeting adjourned.
